Abstract (EN)

21st century, known as a period in which technology is constantly evolving and changing, where technology dominates in all areas of our lives, is also seen as a transition to the digital world. Today we can see this more clearly, especially if we consider that internet and social media are an inseparable part of our lives. The human being who becomes impatient and take the easy way out of everything, almost gives up the habit of reading. Recently, traditional books leave their place to digital books by the coming smartphones into our lives. Besides the technological age, one of the reasons for not reading books is the economic conditions; considering the capitalism world, this situation is becoming more and more widespread as the people who have to work constantly in order to get rid of financial challenges, do not have time and obligations to go to libraries. The done researches make this case clear; it has been encountered two basic answers of 'why people do not read books' question. Firstly it is difficult to access the books and secondly books are expensive. The purpose of this study is to contribute to the more democratization of accessing to books of BookBox project, on the other hand, to make it a project that will open the way of knowledge, education and literature, which will help to expand our cultural life, and that it is responding to social needs with these qualities.
