Correct definition in traditional logic and possibilty of definition

Logic, which aims to give the laws of righteous thinking, is also important because it is accepted as an introduction to philosophical sciences. This study, which deals with one of the two main subjects of logic, consists of three main sections. In the first part, the definition of the logical sense, the elements that make up the definition, and how the logicists, who came to the fore in the historical process, take on the theory of definition are examined. Thus, after introducing the theory of definition, in the second part, the topics that need to be known about the formation of the definition, are included. In this way, it is aimed to better understand the objections directed to the full definition. In the third part, the criticisms of the thinkers, who are against the possibility of the definition, are presented together with their reasons. In addition, the effects of these criticisms are pointed out to contribute to future studies. Thus, answers were sought for such questions as "What are the general approaches to the definition of philosophy and logic?", "How is the subject of definition discussed in classical logic?" and "Was the essentialist definition in Islamic thought accepted as it was after the translation of Organon?"
