The creation of geographical information systems data sets for secondary school geography lessons in Comoros

The aim of this study is to create a data set for the use of GIS in secondary education geography courses in the Comoros. In the study, since the teaching materials developed with GIS in the Comoros Islands were insufficient, various activities were created and data files were developed in accordance with the curriculum by trying to eliminate these deficiencies. The thesis consists of three main sections apart from the Introduction and Conclusion sections. The first is the section where the theoretical and conceptual framework is given, the structure and curriculum of general secondary education in the "Comoros" and the preparation of the data. As a result of this study, in the Comoros Islands, in accordance with the secondary education geography curriculum, and open source data sets that can be used in courses have been developed.
