Reflections of the communism sistem on Albanian literature: Example Ismail Kadare

This study mainly focuses on the reflections of the communism period in Albania on Albanian Literature and in this context, its effects on Ismail Kadare's works and literature. Our study consists of three parts except "Introduction", "Conclusion" and "References". In the Introduction section, we tried to convey the history of the Albanian society and the stages it went through until the reign of Enver Hoxha in general terms. In the first section, the years of rule of Enver Hoxha and the Communism period in Albania are given in chronological order. In the second section, the effects of the Communism period on Albanian Literature were examined and the propagandas implemented under the control and censorship practices are examined under subheadings. In the third section, these implemented propagandas are examined on Ismail Kadare's novels and an attempt is made to convey them to the reader through the author's literary works. To make our study more clearly understood and to eliminate the deficiencies, twenty volumes of Ismail Kadare's current and revised works were used. At the same time, the translations of these works were also made by us. The findings we obtained throughout our study are included in the conclusion section.
