Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of using Corynebacterium cutis lysate on immunoglobulin (IgG, IgM, IgA, IgE) levels in sheep. For this purpose, only 10 sheep pox vaccine and 10 sheep with pox vaccine and 20 mg Corynebacterium cutis lysate were performed. A total of 20 sheep were used in the study. Blood samples were taken from all animals at days 0, 21 and 35, according to the procedure for serum immunoglobulin, biochemical and hematological parameters. Serum Ig levels were measured by ELISA ready commercial test kits. In the biochemical and hematological parameters, the statistical differences were not determined in both groups and groups on the 21st and 35th days of the study. In terms of immunoglobulin levels, IgA levels were statistically increased (P <0.05) in both groups between 0. and 35 days. Non-statistical increases in IgG and IgM levels and non-statistical decrease in IgE were observed. As a result, it was concluded that the effect of the use of Corynebacterium cutis lysate on the levels of Ig in combination with pox vaccine in sheep was limited.
