The subject of taqdîm and ta'khîr in the example of 30th verses of the Qur'an

Taqdīm and ta'khīr is one of the most important subjects of Arabic rhetoric. These elements, whose dictionary meanings are to be put forward/put off, are also known as post-predicate using. Post-predicate uses give the sentence a meaning for the purpose of the speaker. As a matter of fact, when the sentence is formed in a regular manner, this sentence may not fully express the purpose of the speaker. Sometimes it matters what the interlocutor expects or cares. The speaker can refer to the arts of taqdīm and ta'khīr to express the meaning he designed in his mind well or to mention the item the addressee wants to hear first. Nahw and Arabic rhetoric are one of the main branches of Arabic language. Althoug taqdīm and ta'khīr are the subjects of Arabic rhetoric, they were discussed in the books of nahw. Because Arabic rhetoric formed later. In this way nahw deals with the creation of sentences in accordance with the rules and taqdīm-ta'khīr are also concerned with changes on these regular sentences. The first linguist who reffered syntactical meaning to these topics is Sibawayhi, the scholar of nahw. The fact that he mentioned taqdīm-ta'khīr and some rhetoric issues in El-Kitâb contributed to other scholar of nahw to care about this issue. In our research, the terms that are related by explaining the concepts of are taqdīm-ta'khīr mentioned. The terms of rutba, sadarat, uslub are explained and their relations with taqdīm-ta'khīr are discussed. It has been clarified that nahw and Arabic rhetoric deal with the subject of taqdīm-ta'khīr from which framework. Tafsir's relationship with this subject has been represented making relation with our thesis. The explanations of the leading scholars of these sciences about taqdīm-ta'khīr and the works they dealt with in this subject were mentioned. Finally, taqdīm-ta'khīr in the 30th verses of the Quran are divided according to the sentence type and provisions. Explanations were made in this framework by searching for syntactic meaning in taqdīm-ta'khīr that are permissible.
