Angels as a subject of Qur'an

Believing in angels is one of the fundamental principles of many belief systems, especially the heavenly religions. Islam also has a believing in angles in it's principles of faith. In this context angels are mentioned in the Qur'an and working from there the necessity of muslims to believe them is expressed. The hypothesis of this work which is named as "Angels As a Subject of the Qur'an" is that the angels as existential, functional and theological can only to be understood or detected directly by the Qur'an's itself or by the authentic hadiths that interprets it. In order to test the hypothesis, besides classical and contemporary tafsir books, many other studies on the subject have been utilized/used. As another aspect, it is tried to be understood what kind of a mindset Qur'an had tried to build by laying down the perception of angels of the first interlocutors of the revelation and how shaped the angel concept that mentioned in the Qur'an over time. Therefore it is aimed with this study to help understanding angels as beings within the context of the Qur'an and to contribute to the academic studies of tafsir.
