Carbon tax as a tool for it's combating global climate change and efficiency

In this study, which focuses on the implementation and effectiveness of carbon tax as a means to combat global climate change, the factors that cause climate change and the consequences of climate change are emphasized and the search for international solutions to combat the climate change problem is discussed. The purpose of the carbon tax levied in proportion to the amount of carbon dioxide emitted per ton of carbon dioxide released into the air is to reduce the use of fossil fuels that cause global warming. The carbon tax implemented in many countries, mainly in EU countries have not yet implemented in Turkey. In this respect, the applicability of the carbon tax in Turkey as a policy tool is considered and policy recommendations for Turkey are developed.
