Abstract (EN)
The aim of this thesis will be to try to understand the role of Small Commodity Production while looking at the effects of globalization on the local food system based on Antalya region. First of all, the concept of space will be examined, and in this context, it will be tried to understand what are the processes that shape the development of space in agriculture in Turkey. Agricultural processes, new human migration movements, new urban-rural relations, farmers are affected by the conditions of globalization by looking at the production situations, finally, the impact of the COVID pandemic on all these processes will be investigated and analyzed. In the first part of the study, the problem / problematic of the research was determined. In this context, a conceptual framework was created by literature review. The purpose of the research and the purpose and the importance of the study were also put forth in this chapter. In the second part of the study, basic information about participants was given. The methodology of the research, the collection and analysis of the data, the methodology applied are explained in detail in this section. The problems encountered during the research are mentioned here. Findings are presented in the third part of the study. Significant participant expressions, which are the raw source of the findings, are presented as original sentences. In the fourth part of the research, conclusions were reached accompanied by findings about globalization, climate, migrations, technical use affecting the farmer's small commodity production, and the results were discussed and described here with the literature.
