Abstract (EN)
With modern management systems, employees are no longer become mechanical figure, but social figure and started to be seen as a very effective factor on organisations' continuity and efficiency also employee commitment became a very important issue nowadays. Human resources practices are very important influencing factors for employee commitment and also highly important in terms of the degree of effect on employee commitment. This study shows that these practices increase the employee commitment if these are perceived as transparent, equal and objective, and decrease the employee commitment if not. Employees expect to have transparency, equality, objectivity, equality of opportunity, certainty, environment of trust and protection of rights from their organisation and all of these are possible if the corporate governance principles carried out successfully. Corporate governance is a very important management system to avoid conflict of interests and to preserve the interests of stakeholders including the employees. The purpose of this study is to determine how human resources practices affect the employees in organisations which are adopted corporate governance principles. In this context the interview has done deeply with 25 volunteered employees who are working in private banks which are open to public and registered to BIST Corporate Governance Index. In the study, 10 open-ended questions were asked to the volunteers and the result is based on these volunteers' answers. The result shows that if human resources practices is carried out by preserving corporate governance principles, organisational commitment on employees observed to be affected positively.
