Kütahya Şaphane dialect

In this study, the dialect in Şaphane district has been addressed and the features of the region's dialect were examined in terms of phonetic and morphology according to the results. The differences between this region and our written language in terms of phonetic and morphology have been revealed. Our study was composed of three sections as phonetic, morphology and texts. After that, the glossary, bibliography and directory were included. This study was the result of the research conducted in 9 villages of Şaphane district and the center of the district itself. The texts in the research consist of 33 texts which were recorded during interviews with the people in the region. The records obtained were decrypted based on the translation-text system. The phonetic section of our research is composed of vowels and consonants. In this section, the vowels and consonants used in Şaphane region were examined and the different ones from our language were expressed and the relevant sound events have been revealed. In the morphology section, pronouns, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, exclamation types, inflectional suffix and derivational affix, modals, infinite verbs were stated. Their similar and different characteristics compared to our written language were noted. The examples given in phonetic and morphology were numbered. The first of the numbers given in the brackets after the samples showed the text number. The second showed the sentence number of the text. The third section of the research was composed of texts. These texts were the result of interviews conducted with a total of 27 people from the district center and 9 villages. In the glossary section of the study, the words that have been changed by sound events were presented.
