Abstract (EN)
Summary In this study,we will address one of the most important cultural heritages of Andalusian people, the art of ''Muvashshah''. Geographically, the birth place of this art of poetry is Tripoli and Andalus region of Libya and it was spreaded there, in the field of literature in the third century of Islamic calendar. Muwashshah is one of the most important type of Arabic literature and it was created as a result of the tendency of the people of Andalusia to music and singing pleasantly. This art has kept its topicality for the five centuries and was spreaded as the result of migration. The art of '''Muvashshah' reached its peak point in the Xth century and is characterized by its own terminology such as matla, devr, sit, kufl, gusn, beyt and harce. Due to the reason that this art contains non-Arabic words, it attracted the attention of many Oriental and Western researcher. The geographical location of birthplace and spreading of Muvashshah, its history and recognition, the subjects of this art, composers using Muvashshah in their works, by starting from its features in the field of literature and the characteristics of composers will be revealed by analysis in this study. There are varied views and theories regarding the old or new dated researches pointing to the Muvaşşah art. When I was studying at Ege University in the faculty of Social Sciences in the field of Turkish Music, the reason encouraged me to do research about the art of Muvaşşah was the lack of studies on this art, despite its belonging to the Arabic heritage and because not any researches had been done regarding the musical parts of poems written with the same name. In this research, my target will be analyzing the Muvaşşah compositions in order to ensure that Muvaşşah compositions can be performed by achieving and understanding by Turkish music performers by revealing the rhythmic, musical phenomena used in Muvaşşah reading art. Key words: Muvashshah, Poem, Andalusia.
