The explanation of gazelles from Lâmi'î Çelebi's divan

This study is a master thesis from Department of Turkish-Islamic Literature. It consists of four main sections.It includes the explanations of gazelles which are chosen from Lâmi'î Çelebi's divan with a particular method. In this thesis there is information about the century of which Lâmi'î Çelebi lived,life of the poet,divan and gazelles of him.So, it aims to find out the factors that affects his poetic functions. Gazelles which are chosen from Lâmi'î Çelebi divan are explained in a sufistic way.Literary approach of the period,social structure,patterns of traditional Turkish poetry, religious and philosophical background of the period are used while explaining the gazelles.
