In this study, which was carried out with the thesis of the applicability of Latin letters in kufic style, the changes in shape, types and typographic features that have been experienced since the emergence of Latin letters were explained. Information on Arabic letters is discussed in the following sections. The applicability of Latin letters in Kufic style in text typography was explained theoretically and supported by sample figures. In the propositions section, there are typographic works, each of which has been designed by the author, in order to verify the assertion. In the works, Turkish-Latin letter shapes (including the letters that are created the original square kufic style, which is the author's invention) were used for the square kufic writing style. In terms of the usage of typography, these works were divided into two groups. In the first group, the long text feature consists of multi-line text arrangements are found. In the second group, creative typographic interpretations made with a small number of letter forms in the works containing one or a few words were included. In order to prove the argument put forward in the thesis in the real sense; Examples of all the letters in the alphabet are used repeatedly. For this purpose, more than one application consisting of long text, original typographic works written in kufic style were made. Key Words: petrogram, petroglyph, Ancient Roman, humanist writing, typography, sans serif, square kufic.
