Abstract (EN)
SUMMARY The study consist of three chapters. In Chapter 1, we investigate some problems that gave rise to linear hyperbolic wave equations. In Chapter 2, first- order systems and characteristic metod are dwelt upon. In Chapter 3, we investigated the solution of initial value problems for the one-dimensional compressible flow. Moreover, we studied on a nonlinear homogenous hyperbolic equation and, for initial value problem, gave a solution of that equation.
