Abstract (EN)

General aim of the study was to inwestigate the relation between perceived social support and self- efficacy expectation in relation to some variables.Subjects were attending 678 randomly chosen students four high schools in Seyhan and Yüreğir municipal district.Perceived Social Support Scale adapted by Yıldırım (1997), Social Self Efficacy Expectation Scale adapted by Bilgin (1999) and Socio-Economic Level Scale developed by Bacanlı (1990) and personal information questionnaire were used to collect data.The coefficient of correlation were calculated through Pearson Moment Correlation Analysis and t Test for independent samples and Oneway Analysis of variance statistical techniques were used for the data analysis.Resaults did not reveal away meaningful correlation between perceived family social support level and social self efficacy expectation level, nevertheless a significant correlation between correlation between perceived level of social support from friends and social self efficacy expectation level was observed.Key Words : Perceived Social Support, Social Self Efficacy Expectation,Adolescence
