Conflict solving approach of high school students with the investigation of the relationship between attachment styles and some vari̇ables

In this study, adolescents attachment style and conflict resolution approaches aimed to investigate in terms of socio-demographic variables. The role of the first research on attachment styles being presented problems of conflict resolution approaches are discussed. In addition, demographic characteristics, were also investigated individual approaches to conflict resolution and what the characteristics of the family extent predicted. Research; Comparison is based on causal and relational methods. The research sample the 2013-2014 academic year, the province of Hatay Antakya Metropolitan Municipality within the boundaries of the selected Anatolian high schools from the random cluster sample selected by 9, 10, 11 and 12 ongoing 617 male and female students has created. Scope of Research created by researchers, socio-demographics where the "Personal Information Form", "Relationship Scale" and "Conflict Communication Styles Inventory" was used. In the statistical analysis of the study, to examine the relationship between adolescents' attachment styles and conflict resolution approaches Mr. Spearman Rank correlation was used. Mann-Whitney U-group to examine whether there are differences in the two groups; If three or more groups in Kruskal-Wallis method was used. The reason for using the non-parametric statistics in the analysis; their score does not reflect the scale of the normal distribution ap- conflict communication styles of adolescents in the sample from the survey scale and relationships necessary for parametric analysis as a result of "normality" is not met the assumption. Results obtained in the analysis performed on the data ; in conflict adolescents with secure attachment style more self- expression, self that tend to open , in other words, the result of the general behavior they exhibit no difference between conflict behavior based on the location where conflict and are less avoid conflicts were obtained. Preoccupied and dismissing attachment style has been found to be correlated with self-disclosure approach and the approach to express your feelings.
