Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between high school students' career decision making difficulties and relisience. In the research, whether there is a relationship between students' total career decision-making difficulty levels and relisience, whether the total and sub-dimensions of career decision-making difficulties predict psychological well-being, students' career decision-making difficulties do not show a significant difference according to gender and students' career decision-making difficulties are significantly different according to class level. whether it shows a difference. The research is a descriptive study in relational survey model. The study group of the study consisted of 452 students (251 female and 201 male) who were educated in four different Anatolian high schools in Adana city center. In the study, the Career Decision Making Difficulty Scale (CDMDS), developed by Gati and Saka (2001) and adapted to Turkish by Bacanlı (2008), was developed by Bulut, Doğan and Altundağ (2012) to measure students' psychological strengths Adolescent Psychological Resistance Scale (APRS) was used. In this study, it was examined whether the total and subscale mean scores of the students' career decision-making difficulties differ according to gender level by t test. One-way analysis of variance was used to determine whether the career and decision-making difficulties of the students differed according to the grade level of the total and subscale scores. Pearson Moments Multiplication Correlation Coefficient technique was used to analyze the relationship between the sub-dimensions of the students' career decision making difficulties and resilience. Regression analysis was used to explain the scores of career decision-making difficulties and sub-dimensions of resilience of the students who participated in the research. As a result of the research, it was found that there was a negative negative correlation between the resilience of high school students and career decision making difficulty, and the highest correlation with the total score of career decision making difficulty was the determination to tackle the sub-dimensions of resilience. When we look at the relationship between resilience and sub-dimensions of career decision-making difficulty; It was found that there was a weak negative correlation with the lack of preparation and inconsistent information subscale, and a moderate negative relationship with the lack of information sub-dimension. According to the research findings, resilience predicts the total and sub-dimensions of career decision-making difficulties. In addition, resilience predicted the lack of preparation, lack of information and inconsistent information sub-dimension, and had the most effect on the lack of information sub-dimension. According to the results of the study, there is no significant difference in career decision making difficulties according to gender. Finally, according to the results of the study, there is no significant difference in career decision-making difficulties according to class level.
