Abstract (EN)
The aim of this research is to determine the internal image perception, organizational commitment levels and the relationship between them according to the opinions of teachers working in high schools. The research is based on the relational search model. The population of the study is the teachers working in high school in Nevşehir province. Sampling was not carried out and 333 teachers were reached. In this study, "The Scale of Organizational Internal Image Perception" which was developed by the researcher was used to determine the organizational internal image perceptions of teachers working in high schools and also "Organizational Commitment Scale" which was developed by Balay (2000) to determine the level of organizational commitment. The following findings were obtained in the research: According to the opinions of the participants, teachers have a high level of positive image perception towards their schools. The internal image perception developed by the teachers working in Fen and Anadolu High Schools for their schools is higher and positive than the vocational high school employees. Among the participants, administrators and males have a more positive image perception towards their schools. As schools become more crowded in terms of the number of teachers, teachers' perceptions of internal image towards their schools become negative. The relatively low perception of the teachers in the image sub- dimensions is the image dimension related to the quality of education in schools. Teachers working in Anadolu-Fen High Schools have a more positive perception than the teachers working in vocational high schools. Teachers developed a moderate commitment to their schools. The level of adaptation commitment of the participants working in vocational high schools is higher than the level of adaptation commitment of the participants working in Fen and Anadolu high schools. The situation is the opposite in terms of both total commitment and identification and recruitment sub-dimensions, other than adaptation commitment. The level of organizational commitment of male participants is very close to female participants, while the participants who are similarly managers are quite close to the teacher participants. As the number of teachers in schools decreases, organizational commitment levels of teachers increase. According to the teachers' opinions, there is a moderate positive relationship between organizational internal image perception and organizational commitment levels of high schools. Increasing the level of internal image perception of the participants towards their schools increases their organizational commitment levels. Increasing the perception of teachers 'internal image positively reduces teachers' commitment to harmony, albeit at a low level. Key words: Organizational image, Organizational internal image, organizational commitment
