Cash management in freight forwarders companies

Cash management is an important competitive element for all businesses, but it is of vital importance in Freight Forwarders, which are seen as an important source of external financing for logistics expenses in enterprises dealing with foreign trade and as an intermediary for logistics activities. A good cash management in these institutions that serve their customers with long-term maturities strengthens the financial structures of these institutions and increases their competitiveness in the sector. In the study, although the source scanning technique and the opinions and experiences of the company managers working in the sector are utilized, especially in the third part of the study, my own professional knowledge and experiences are included. Especially in countries such as our country that have to struggle with high inflation and variable exchange rates, the cash management techniques applied in these intermediary institutions show that they can struggle with the least loss in these difficult market conditions. For this reason, the priority of the financial managers working in these organizations should be analyzing the market conditions and taking the fast action and managing the cash in their hands correctly.
