The problems of the logistics sector and solution suggestion (A case study in Gaziantep)

This study was prepared to define the problems of logistics sector in Gaziantep by analyzing the current position of the sector and to help the improvement of sector by suggesting reasonable solutions to these problems. A survey conducted within the study to gather datas, from a sample of 96 hundreds logistics companies which is driven from logistic and international transportation companies registered to Gaziantep Trade Chamber in 2008. When analyzing the datas from the survey, first frequencies and descriptive statistics were used to define the data, after mean, variance and standart deviation are used.At last with the enlightment of these findings and regarding the historical studies of this topic we proposed suggestions for basic issues of logistics sector in Gaziantep.Anahtar Kelimeler: Logistics, logistics sector problem, Gaziantep?s logistics sector
