The explanatory index for Ma?mûratü?l-azîz newspaper (1925-1926)

Ma?mûratü?l-azîz Newspaper that had held the name of Elazığ in the relevant period, and had started to be published in October 5, 1883 and had continued publishing after the foundation of the Republic had been one of the longevous newspapers in Anatolia. The newspaper that had pursued publishing activities with interruptions had continued to be published after the foundation of the Republic and had been published until 1935 with the name of Elaziz after the Alpabet Revolution.Depending on these, Ma?mûratü?l-azîz Newspaper has been a significant source especially for the late period Ottoman Empire and Turkish Repuplic studies, and for the studies about Elazığ and Eastern cities. The issues of the Ma?mûratü?l-azîz Newspaper published in the Republican period can only be found in the library of Turkish Great Assembly. This collectin only consists of the issues published between 1925-1928. The explanatory index has been made for the 72 issues collection of the Ma?mûratü?l-azîz Newspaper published between 1925-1926.With this study the news, advertisements and the announcements in the news paper have been determined.
