Abstract (EN)
There are many indices to measure the tendency of investors to take risks and it has been shown by previous empirical studies that they do not give accurate and precise results. In this study, several macroeconomic indicators are included as risk appetite indicators and the effects of these indicators on the BIST100 Index and USD / TRY parity are analyzed separately by applying the least squares method. As a result of the tests, different independent variables were found to be effective on BIST100 Index and USD / TRY. This result shows that when the effects of risk appetite are investigated, different variables should be observed at the same time.
