They repaired the walls and built mosques and barracks. The Seljuks, who came with Turkısh raids from the 11th century, created important religious architecture and foundation works in Malatya. Malatya and especially Battalgazi district, which has an important place in the Turkification and Islamization of Anatolia, stand out with their religious architectural structures. Malatya's position in Turkish-Islamic architecture and the qualities of existing architectural works encouraged us to research on this subject.
