Abstract (EN)

In this study, the inorganic and organic pollution loads of the wastewaters and streams pouring into the North Marmara Sea covering the area from Marmara Ereğli to Şarköy were determined and the pollution size they created was investigated. In order to determine the pollution loads in the study area, 30 samples were taken from 10 points consisting of discharge points and streams. Organic and inorganic analyzes of the samples were made. In the researches carried out in the study area, it was determined that the concentration of organic matter was at a high value. It was determined that the reason for this high value was due to the clayey and silty anoxidant environment. In addition, the region of the sample taken was determined to be dense in terms of pollution as a result of the elemental analysis. Uneven distribution of organic matter density in bottom sediments; It is related to the current system that is effective in the region regarding primary production and land input. Especially thanks to this study, sea coastlines that are not dangerous for human health are also emerging.
