Vocational high school students in physical education course expectations and the expectations of the level of realization of (Ataşehir example)

The purpose of this research is to determine the expectation levels and expectations from physical education lesson among the 10th grade students, who are studying at the vocational high school.This research has been carried out through the survey model of quantitative survey pattems to meet its purpose. Under this framework the research has been carried out among 382 students(213 boys and 169 girls), who are selected from the students of the vocational high schools serving in Ataşehir neighborhood of İstanbul City, by use of the random survey method. Research data, and all actions about validity and reliability have been obtained by use of the survey performed by Sunay and Sunay(1996). Any and all data, obtained through this survey, has been analyzed by being explained through their frequency and percentages. As a result of this data analysis, it has been determined that the 10th grade students have expectations from their physical education lessons, in the extent of physical, social and esthetical sides and for sports tendencies and participation, it has also been observed that the students considerably realize their expectations for the mentioned sides.
