Abstract (EN)

In this research carried on Harran University Science and Literature Faculty Biology Division Physiology Laboratory. In the research, we have used licorice's sample (Glycyrrhiza glabra L.), which were obtained from Sanliurfa and Diyarbakir. The main purposes of this research is the determination of the content enzyme and pigment for licorice plant samples (Glycyrrhiza glabra L.) According to our research licorice's foliages have high proportion of chlorophyll and enzyme which are catalase, glutation reductase, ascorbate peroxidase and superoxide dismutase. The consumption licorice known as helpfull for health since the long time however, the role special components have not been determined. The following researches are going to indicate the more efficient usage of licorice, as medicine and raw material for medicines and the proportion of the right amount for the most efficient usage.
