Abstract (EN)

In this study, five new amide compounds were synthesized by the reaction of -hydroxybutiric acid with aniline derivatives by microwave irradiation in solvent freemedium. In order to improve yield, optimum conditions were investigated by exertingdifferent powers at different irradiation times. The amides were characterized by IR,NMR, UV-vis and X-ray spectroscopies. Furthermore, seven additional amides wereobtained from the reaction of DL-mandelic acid and aniline derivatives and 2-picolylamine.
