Electronic commercial arbitration as a tool for the settlement of disputes in international commercial arbitration

Traditional arbitration is widely used as a solution for international commercial disputes. Electronic arbitration is the arbitration that takes all the features of traditional arbitration but takes place in an electronic environment. It is evident that traditional arbitration has not provided for appropriate developments suitable to the requirements of electronic commerce. As a result of this situation, the solving of disputes arising from international commercial activities, especially in the electronic environment, by using electronic arbitration is frequently discussed. Electronic arbitration has developed and expanded in parallel with the development of electronic commerce. In this context, our thesis study consists of three parts. In the first part; it contains general information on arbitration with an introduction to electronic arbitration. In the second part, we focus on issues of conflict of laws in international electronic commercial arbitration. In the third section, we touch on the arbitration process in electronic arbitration also the decision-making and implementation process. In this study, the problems and suggestions of these issues were examined and the study was finalized.
