A research on increasing the participation effectiveness of the school council in the institutions of the directorate of national education in Osmaniye

Due to the changing paradigms in the field of public administration, there is a transition from the traditional public administration approach to the active participatory management approach. Previous scientific studies prove that the participation efficiency of the Parent-Teacher Association, which is the organization where participation can be actively provided in schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education, is not at the expected level. As might be expected, the quality of education at all levels will increase when the participation efficiency of the Parent-Teacher Association increases. In this study, the effectiveness of the participation of the Parent-Teacher Association in Osmaniye National Education Institutions will be examined in terms of provincial organization, school management and school-parent union management within the framework of the duties and authorities specified in the regulation.In addition, the activities of the general assembly and the board of directors will be examined within the framework of their duties and authorities. In this way, the obstacles in front of participation effectiveness and problems in the field will be determined and solution proposals will be developed.
