Düzce during the period of National Struggle in the light of (1918-1921)

White the Turkish Nation was struggling for liberation, it did not only fight with the British, Greeks, French, Russians, Italians, but also had to enter the civil war with its traitors. With the provocation of the Istanbul Government, riots emerged in many parts of Anatolia. The Düzce Uprising, too, remained in the memories as the event that witnessed the most bloody events among these revolts. Due to its proximity to Istanbul, under the influence of the Sultanate and Caliphate, Düzce had two revolts on April 13 and August 8, 1920. The accident and the people of the accident seized by the plaintiff rebels witnessed activities against the National movement. Despite the rebels, the National Forces entered the struggle for independence and fought life and death. In this study, the events that took place in Düzce and its surroundings were tried to be explained in detail.
