Police themed jokes in the context of the language of humor

In this study called the police themed jokes in the context of language of humor, joke texts which police themed jokes and in the Security Organization experienced humorous events have been determined. Classified according to communication types and have been evaluated. In addition, funny events lived about police on television and in newspapers have been evaluated in accordance with humor. By analyzing drawings by some cartoonists about the cops and after a survey obtained from a clause similar to memories, problems that emerge from police - citizen relationships are tried to be determined.In the text to the police-community relations, the image of the police, when citizens and police contact what the police needs to give attention,poice expectation from the people and public expectaions from the police and faults in meeting values has been revealed. In each article texts that give rise to language humor are shown by analyzing separately.Key Words: The Language of Humor, Joke, Police , Laughter
