Causes and assessment of hand-wrist and finger pains ofchiropractric specialists and physiotherapists usingmobilization and manipulation techniques

Chiropractors and physiotherapists have been applying manipulation and mobilization techniques for years. These practices have evolved and continued up to the present day. However, due to frequent application of these techniques, hand-wrist-finger pain occurs after repetitive use. The technique, application, level of education, awareness, and the number of patients seen per day have all contributed to this situation. The aim of this study is to evaluate at which stages hand-wrist-finger pain that may occur after chiropractors' or physiotherapists' interventions becomes prevalent. The study is observational and descriptive in nature. Data collection using the Chi-Square test was conducted after obtaining Institutional Review Board approval. Forty volunteer participants were included with written informed consent for the study. According to the research findings, it was observed that 62.5% of participants believed that carpal tunnel syndrome would occur after the interventions. Additionally, a statistically significant relationship was observed between participants' ages and the number of patients seen per day.
