Investigation of the relation ship between motivational personality traits and organizational commitment: A research in the province of Kastamonu

The main aim of our thesis study is motivation, personality traits and organizational commitment. In the province of Kastamonu with this purpose, a survey was conducted for the employees working in the Special Provincial Administration. There are three basic variable in research. İn research discussed variable from some one, motivation is the stereotyped tendencies that direct our actions, motivate the individual to target himself, needs, desires and enthusiasm, in short, without any effort. Other one be variable personality, ınterpersonal relative, contınuous tendency and relationship ın the shapes expression. Study sample, easy to use according to the sampling method. 220 employees participated in the study. Research findings, validity, reliability, analyzes, exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis methods. Finally organizational commitment, a call to bring out the values and goals of the work, the emergence of the purpose. As a result of the research; the relationships between continuity commitment and internal motivation and external motivation perceptions are relatively low in the employees, but the relations between external motivation and normative commitment perceptions are relatively strong. The strongest relationship is reconciliability and normative commitment as well as perceptions of responsibility and inner motivation. It is seen that the other relationships, which are significant between the motivation sub-dimensions and personality sub-dimensions, are significantly lower.
