Abstract (EN)

Subspecies of Inula L. genus (Inula graveolens (L.) and Inula viscosa (L.) Aiton), which is a member of the Asteraceae family that naturally spreads in Muğla province borders, using different solvents (methanol, acetone and hexane) for 24 and 48 hours of the pure extracts, the total phenolic contents and antioxidant activities were determined and the mineral content of these plants with high medicinal value and the soil characteristics of the locations where they grow were also analyzed. In this study, when the antioxidant activity values of the extracts obtained were examined, the highest was determined in the methanol and acetone extracts of Inula viscosa species, while the lowest was determined in the hexane extracts of Inula graveolens species. It was determined that the methanolic extract of I.viscosa had the highest (137.1 (µg PE /mg)a) and the hexane extract of the I. graveolens species had the lowest total phenolic content with 22.40 (µg PE /mg)a. While the amount of flavonoid compound was obtained with a maximum of 95.78 (µg QE /g)a in I.viscosa methanolic extract; The hexane extract of I. graveolens species was found to have the lowest value with 13.25 (µg QE /g)a. On the other hand, when looking at the mineral content of the species, P from the macro elements: 0.09-0.22%; K: 1.2%-1.39%; Ca: 0.35%-1.81% and Mg: 0.14%-0.43%. When the amounts of microelements determined in the leaves of Inula graveolens and Inula viscosa species are examined; Fe: 1.09 – 910.06 ppm; Mn: 2.92-125.72 ppm; Zn: 1.51-56.16 ppm; Cu: 1.46-11.03 ppm and B: 33.21- 53.87 ppm. As a result, it observed by the analyzes that there is a important interaction between the medicinal properties of the species and their nutrition. In this respect, the study is important in terms of determining the mineral substance content and chemical components of plants and determining their medicinal properties. However, some other parameters that will reveal the medicinal properties for the species need to be considered.
