The data on students` commintment to organizations was collected through "Organizational Commitment Scale" developed by Penley and Gould (1988) and adapted into Turkish by Ergün and Çelik (2019). Fort the data analysis, T-test was used to determine to compare mean scores between two independent variables, ANOVA was used to compare mean scores of more than two variables, and finally correlation was used to determine the relationship among demographic information, students attides and their commitment to organizations. Results of this study indicated that (a) cognitive attitude sub-dimension score of women was higher than men, (b) students studying in the field of health sciences had higher cognitive attitude sub-dimension scores compared to students studying in the field of science, (c) male members participating in the study had higher forced commitment compared to the female members. Furthermore, results of the correlation analysis indicated that there was a low level of positive significant relationship between the age variable and behavioral attitude. In addition, there was a lower level of negative significant relationship between family income and forced commitment sub-dimension. While the participants' attitudes towards leisure time were positively related to the cognitive, affective and behavioral sub-dimensions and the manipulative and moral sub-dimensions of the organizational commitment sub-dimensions, there was a negative relationship between the cognitive and affective sub-dimension and the forced commitment sub-dimension. As a result, this study indicated that the leisure attitudes of the students who are members of the organizations have a positive effect on their commitment to their communities.
