Abstract (EN)
This research was carried out to determine whether the robotic coding training activities for primary school students influence students' attitudes, participation and skill levels towards programming. In this context, the sample of the study consists of 57 primary school students studying in a primary school in the Eastern Anatolia region. During the education period given to the students, robotic coding and programming trainings were given. It is aimed to determine whether there is a significant difference in the attitudes, participation and skill levels of students towards programming before and after the education given through the training. In this process, "attitude" and "participation" scales were used as data collection tools. The interview form developed by the researchers was used to support the quantitative data. Qualitative data obtained using face-to-face interview technique were analysed by content analysis technique. In the findings obtained because of the research; It has been determined that there is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores of attitudes and participation tendencies towards programming and that these skills show a positive development. In the qualitative data obtained, it has been determined that students' attitudes towards programming have changed, their interest in the lesson and programming has increased significantly, they enjoy the activities, their perspectives on the problems they encounter have changed, their productivity has increased and they want the activities to take place in their education life.
