Abstract (EN)
The study was conducted to evaluate the use of reproductive health services by refugee women. It is a retrospective descriptive study. The study was conducted in Sivas province Numune Hospital, Obstetrics and Gynecology outpatient clinics between January 2020 and July 2021. The research population consists of the records of refugee women who applied to the Obstetrics and Gynecology outpatient clinics of Sivas province Numune Hospital between January 2020 and July 2021. All the applicant refugee women were included in the sample. The sample number is 1331 registered women files. The data of the study were obtained from the electronic hospital records kept for refugee women who applied to the Obstetrics and Gynecology outpatient clinics. Number and percentage were used in the analysis of the data. Ethics committee and institutional permission were obtained for the study. In the study, 9.8% of refugee women who applied to the Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic in 2020 were 19 years old and under, 60.1% of them were under the Temporary Protection Law, 34% were stateless, and 55.4% of refugee women were under Temporary Protection in the first 6 months of 2021. Within the scope of the Law, 37.9% of the refugee women were stateless, their nationality was 66.6% Syria, 29.5% Afghanistan and in the first 6 months of 2021 61% of the refugee women were Syrian, 33.3% Afghanistan, nationality. , Pregnancy and pregnancy-related conditions were diagnosed in 66.7% of refugee women who applied in 2020 and 60.4% of refugee women were diagnosed with pregnancy and pregnancy-related conditions in the first 6 months of 2021, and only 17 women out of 1331 refugee women applied, IUD, which is an effective family planning method. It has been found to benefit from In the study, it is recommended that refugee women receive more fertility services from reproductive health services and that their service intake is limited in terms of effective family planning, and that health professionals should provide effective training and counseling for refugee women to use and accept family planning services.
