Socio-political analysis of the relationship between Turkey and European Union relations in the context of the refugee problem in the last fifty years

The refugee problem has been a common problem for many countries for many years, not just today. Every year, millions of people are forced to leave their lands and take shelter in another country. In this context, Turkey is one of the most important crossroads of refugee and other illegal immigration movements between Asia, Europe and Africa due to its geographical position. The main aim of this study is to examine how the Syrians became a refugee problem, especially after the civil war in Syria, who had escaped from their country and felt the need for asylum in other countries since 2011, and that our relations with the European Union in this context exchange.
