Abstract (EN)
In this study, the materials and preparation of the traditional dishes of Mus gastronomy belonging to Mus Center and its districts, culinary architecture, plants used in meals and folk medicine, foods prepared for winter, animal products and folk literatüre products are emphasized. Traditions, customs, beliefs are cultural elements that bring human communities together and establish their ties. Gastronomy, wich has an important place in Turkish culture, is one of the most important parts of the eating and drinking experience. Gastronomy, which is an indispensable part of life, has been transferred from generation to generation and has survived until today. Food plays an important role in the promotion of aculture. People can explain the culture, values, customs, traditions, lifestyles, pleasures of the society they live in, with food. Gastronomy, around which the majority of cultural values are shaped, continues with great vitality in Mus. In this study, it is airned to introduce the gastronomy of Mus, which is one of the important cultures of the province of Mus to protect this cultural heritage of the province of Mus, to record and transfer it to future generations.
