Oracle: According to first period Ahl al-sunna scholars

This study consist of an introduction and three chapters. The aim of this study is to determine what kind of attitude was developped by the early Ahl al-Sunna scholars to the oracle incidents which were discussed mostly by Sufis and to determine position of the oracle incidents against miracles from the point of view of early period kalam scholars. The importance and purpose of the issue, content and method of study are included in introduction. In the first chapter, the etymological analysis of the word oracle are given. In the context, it was attempted to determine how the name of oracle was used between the Arabs. Later, it was determined how were pussed ot the Qur'an and hadiths. It also was explaned the relation of the concept of oracle with miracles and other concepts. In the second chapter, the opinions of some groups and people about oracle are given. At first, the viewpoints of Sufiyye group, which the more touch to of oracle incident was examined. Later, oracles attiributed to the imams of the Shia sect were touched and attempts were made to find Shia's approach to the oracle. Finally, İbn Sina's approach who inside of Islam Philosophers, to the oracle incidents is evaluated. In the third part, the views of the schools of Ahl al-Sunna in the first period are given respectively.
