Values Muvakkit-Zâde Mehmed Pertev's Divan and their reflections on society/image levels

The concept of value was first introduced to social sciences by Znaniecki in 1918. Over time, in the social order, moral values such as contentment, friendship, patience, loyalty, hope, generosity, mercy, morality, helpfulness, advice, truthfulness, diligence, love, belief in God, love of the Prophet, prayer, gratitude, belief in the afterlife, destiny-fate. Religious values such as faith, halal, good deeds, self-discipline, repentance, and the opposites of moral and religious values such as sin, haram, curse, lie, mercilessness, greed, impatience, disloyalty, hopelessness have begun to be structured in social life. Individuals and society have guided their moral structures, beliefs, behaviors and attitudes with these value judgments that emerged within the social structure. The aim of education is to develop the individual in every aspect and to raise him as a person useful to society. Values education, on the other hand, provides character, citizenship and citizenship education and has become a focal point within the scope of education programs designed to address social problems. In this respect, the aim of values education is to achieve a healthy and strong society. Values that best reflect the behavior of the individual are an important basis in values education. Therefore, values are built on these foundations. It is very important for the individual to adapt to the social life he is in in terms of values education. The study consists of four parts. In the first part of the study, it was tried to convey information about the subject by touching on its purpose, importance, problem, limitations, its place in the literature, previous studies on values and values education and the sources used. In the second part, the meaning of the concept of value, the characteristics of values, the importance and purpose of values, values education, the purpose and importance of values education are discussed. In the third chapter, the foundations of modern and Islamic values education are explained and the development adventures of the concepts of positivism, materialism, the Holy Quran and the Sunnah are included. In the fourth chapter, the moral and religious values in Muvakkit-zâde Mehmed Pertev's divan and their opposites were identified and their reflections on society were examined in the context of values education.
