Investigation of the effect and persistence of infographic-based learning in music lesson

The study aims to determine the impact of infographic based practice on sensory and cognitive learning in the music course. The cognitive field of the quantitative size of the study used in a hybrid model was examined and the qualitative size was examined. The experiment group of 72 students, including the group of experiments and control, was given infographic-based training for 5 weeks. The control group has studied in traditional ways in parallel with the experiment group. 4 weeks after the final test and the success levels of the students were examined, a concept map was applied to examine permanence. The qualitative size of the research was finally taken from the study group students. Quantitative data is collected and analyzed with a test of success and concept, while qualitative data is collected with semi-structured interview form and analyzed with content analysis. According to the quantitative results, a significant difference has been made between the pre-test and final test scores of the test and control group students. In the qualitative direction of the study, the study group students found infographics fun, catchy, remarkable and understandable.
