Cash management: Implementation on Azerbaijan

In general, cash management is a very significant issue in both small-scale and large-scale companies. This is because in order to have prestige or a big share in market economy, and survive any crisis, companies are supposed to manage their cash in a best way. Unfortunately, today a lot of companies in Azerbaijan, even including some profitable ones, suffer from inappropriate cash management thereby encountering many difficulties. However, there are also some corporations here which can not make much profit but can control liquidity properly. There were mainly used the dissertation works, articles, books, official reports, private communications and other internet resources in the research. This dissertation tries to analyze the issues related to cash in Azerbaijani companies by the help of reviewing the balance of 50 corporations. Since the analysis covers almost all the financial matters in those companies, the information attained helps to show their general monetary situation, net profit and etc. In short, we can say that liquidity and cash management identify the fate of companies. Furthermore, several other matters like the difference between profit and cash, the preparation process of a cash management scheme, or the stages of providing sound cash management are also mentioned in the existing dissertation. Ultimately, the paper shows how to avoid from challenges or how to overcome difficulties related to the cash management.
