Abstract (EN)

This study; Hâlidî aims to reveal through research how the Naqshbandiyya Order spread in the Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia Region in general, and in Norşin in particular, and how the relationship of this branch with politics has developed until today. The study was prepared by qualitative research method, based on primary and secondary sources as well as document analysis, and supported by semi-structured personal interviews using the oral history method. Hâlidîsm, which followed an expansionist policy through the unity of lodges and madrasahs, spread in the East and Southeast in a short time. It was seen that Hâlidîsm, which was first accepted through Nehiri lodge, opened a lodge in the Hizan district of Bitlis through Sıbgatullah Arvâsî, and then, with the permission he received from Arvâsî, Abdurrahman-ı Tâğî opened a lodge in Norşin. After Nehiri lodge, it is accepted that the most influential branch of Hâlidîsm in the region is Norşin lodge and madrasah. This is based on the 19 caliphs raised by Abduraahman-ı Taghi and the guidance activities carried out by these caliphs in their own regions. With the settlement of Hâlidîsm in Norşin, it was seen that Norşin Lodge and Madrasa were active not only in religious matters but also in social and political issues. The study touched upon the political events of the period and examined the attitude of the norşin lodge towards these events. In addition, the position of Hâlidîsm in active politics in the post-one-party system period has been tried to be discussed until the end of the 1990s. As a result, the relationship between lodges and madrasahs and politics from past to present; although it varies periodically, it is revealed that it is always present.
