Dr. Ahmet Taşğın, 154 p.Religion has been one of the most important elements affecting individuals and society. Tarikat is one of the most common forms of religious groups. Nagshbendhi is a tariqat, devoted itself to sufi tradition.İn Addition Nagshbendhi Tariqat has a quite old, fundamental culture and philosophical, mystical saying, it also has been a part of individual and social life, with its different forms of reflections during history.As a social group, Tarikatsa are socal movements. The most important sociologial effects of tendency to Tariqats are derived from the desire; to need something, to have a problem and to deal with the problem. İn this reseach, as a group İslamic mistic life style, araused from religion, and its strutured form tariqats will be searched.The founder of Nagshbendhi Tariqat is Bahaeddin Nagshbendhi who also gives his name to this Tariqat. The most common branh of Nagshbendhi Tariqat in Turkey is Halidiye Branch are seen in Eastern end Southeasttern Anatollia Region.Altough several researches have been done on woman, religion, sufizm up to now, ın the view of Nakshibendi as a mystic Tariqat, the statue of woman hasn?t been clearly idendifred from the point of Religion Sociology. It?s supposed that this research willl clarfy the social life of woman and help to recognıze our society.The needs and desires of women for religion and social life are affective factors, inclining them to Nagshbendhi Tariqat. Tarikat provides a social environment for women and legitimate the statue of women in social life.The Questiomairre, that we have developed to understand the frame of Nagshbendhi on forming social, cultural and revealing the sociological reflections of beliefs, knowledge, experiences gained with Tariqat, on social life of women. In the point of devoution to tarikat and tariqat leader, as a reference every attitude and behavior included in this study is taken in to account.It?s supposed that this research carried out in rural areas the sample of Ulaşlı Village in Batman will contribute to the studies of Religion Sociology in Turkey.
