Nâşid's divan concordance and functional dictionary

Associate Professor Ramazan BARDAKÇI Even though the 18th century is a period when some problems and regression were experienced in social, political and economical areas, it kept on developing in art and literature areas and it became a peak for our literature. The poem has reached to its maturity level by the contributions of two great poets Nedim and Şeyh Galib as well as the importance given to the art and artists by Ahmed III, who wrote poems with the pen name 'Necib', and by Selim III, who wrote poems with the pen name 'İlhami'. Naşid has a place as an 'Enderun' poet in this period which is very rich in terms of poets. Naşid, who received education for calligraph and poem, was praised at his time. It is aimed to reveal the vocabulary of the poet by preparing 'Concordance and Functional Dictionary' of Naşid's Divan in this study. The change of the words that the poet used according to the context are presented with this dictionary study which is an important project for the transfer of classical literature to present. The thesis has two parts; the meaning of the words and the context that they were used at Naşid's Divan are uploaded online to the TEBDİZ system at the first part, a general evaluation of the Divan is made in the second part Key Words: Nâşid, Divan, Concordance, Functional Dictionary
