Analysing the literary arts based on the semantics in ghazals section of Necâtî Bey's Divan

A poet of classical Turkish literature of the XVth century, Necâtî Bey is one of the well-known poets of both his time and Turkish literature. Necâtî Bey, who is a master of using proverbs and idioms, preserves his position in our literary world despite the centuries that have passed and continues to be the field of study of many scientific researches. Necâtî Bey is a poet who successfully conveyed his emotional world through his works and the literary arts he used in his works. In his ghazals, Necâtî Bey used the features of local narration much more dominantly than the poets of his period.The fact that local utturance could be seen in Necâtî Bey's poems and his language's being simpler than his period have enabled him to be read till today and made him one of the keystones of classical Turkish literature. In this study, we have identified, classified and partially analyzed the literary arts in the ghazals in Necâtî Bey's Divan. Giving brief information about literary art, we have compiled some of the couplets in the order of the couplet under the title to which they belong. We have stated the other couplets under the same title as footnotes by indicating their numbers. By giving the equivalent or explanation of some of the couplets we use in our current Turkish, we have tried to enhance the comprehensibility of the literary art we identified on the couplet.
