The aim of the study is to determine which components the authoruses as adjectives in the adjective phrases and how frequently he uses them in thebook, and then to give numerical lists for the words or word phrases used asadjectives, which attribute to noun elements by expressing the process.In the introductory section, the purpose of the present study, method andcontent are taken into consideration and some theoretical information is given aboutadjectival elements which constitute an adjective phrase.In the analysis section which constitutes the main section of this study,adjective phrases are examined in two main titles named ?Adjective Phrases foAdjective and Noun Elements? and ?Adjective Phrases According to Their AdjectiveNumbers?. Those adjective phrases which we obtained by searching the work areanalyzed together, both syntactically and sementically, in related sections.In the appraisal and conclusion section, the usage frequencies of the adjectivephrases which are determined in the terms of their semantic and syntactic features,are presented in tables.Key Words: adjective, adjectival, attribution.
