Abstract (EN)
The developments in information and communication technologies have changed our buying behaviora as well as many other areas. In this study, opinions of undergraduate students of Sakarya University Faculty of Communication on online shopping were examined. It was researched if there is a meaningful relationship between students' online shopping experiences and demographic variables. For this purpose, the sample was determined by the proportional stratification method among the undergraduate students who study at Sakarya University in the fall semester of 2017-2018. By considering the determined number of samples from the universe, a questionnaire was conducted to 300 students. Independent Sample T Test and One Way ANOVA were used in the analysis. As a result of the research, it was revealed that opinions related to online shopping change significantly due to factors such as gender, educational status, household income, registered province, place that is chosen to connect to Internet, duration of Internet usage, preferred products and payment method. According to findings, male, who are studying in the second and third classes, have household income of 2700-4049, 4050 and above, come from the metropolitan area, connect to the internet from the home, use the Internet for 5 years and more, prefer to buy Clothing- Shoes, Personal Care, Electronic Items and Banking Service, the students who use cash and money transfer payment tools in the delivery of items approach online shopping in a more positive manner compared to the other groups and found online shopping advantageous.
